What’s been happening:

Sometimes I really have to think about how long ago it was that I graduated because so much has happened in the past two years. At the moment, I am working as a tech for an archaeological consulting company (Metcalf Archaeology) curating artifacts and helping out in their lab. After a year as a research assistant at the Smithsonian, I was itching to get out in the field and headed to Colorado in the May of 2008. I worked on two different projects that summer and then winter came. So after bouncing back and forth from DC to CO looking for jobs and spending time with family for the holidays, Metcalf hired me and it has been an awesome match. I can't wait for another field season to begin. The plan is to eventually go back to school and get my doctorate in archaeology. Until that happens... you can find this Nittany Lion washing rocks and playing in the dirt!
